Resin Cleaning Chemical
Resin is a synthetic or natural compound which is initially in viscous state and hardens with treatment. It is soluble in alcohol but not in water. In the market, different grades of resins are available depending upon the uses and chemical composition. Resin is used in various applications such as art & polymer production.
3 Steps for Resin Cleaning for Softener & DM
- Backwashing Phase- Removes dirt from mineral tank and a part of regeneration process.
- Regeneration Phase- In this phase, the mineral tank is recharged with sodium from brine solution. After this, it displaces magnesium & calcium which is washed down the drain during backwashing phase.
- Rinse Phase- Mineral tank is rinsed with fresh water and load with brine tank thus, ready for next cycle.
- When the water passed through the mineral tank, positively charged magnesium & calcium ions are converted to negatively charged plastic beads. Brine tank stores water & salt solution which flush the mineral tank and replaces magnesium & calcium ions with sodium. The recharging cycle is controlled by meter on the top of tank.
