Oxygen Scavenger

The main usage of Oxygen Scavenger is to remove last traces of dissolved oxygen presented in the boiler feed water. It is in the form of liquid which is a formulation of catalyzed sodium sulphate and when it reacts with oxygen, produces sodium sulphate. Its reaction formula is:

( Na2SO3 + ½ O2 Na2SO4)

Application

The diluted Oxygen Scavenger solution should be dosed continuously in boiler feed water. We will provide technical assistance to the clients in preparing perfect dosages as per dosing system and operating conditions.

Dosage

To remove around 1 ppm of oxygen from boiler feed water, you should required 12 PPM of Oxygen Scavenger. About 25 % excess should be dosed to provide oxygen consuming reserve.

Storage & Handling

We recommend you to store Oxygen Scavenger at dry & cool place in air tight container away from direct heat. AQUABLEND-310 is a strong reducing agent handled through goggles & cannot breathe in vapours. Do not swallow, wash thoroughly in case of contact.
